Hi Kelly,
Thanks for the reminder. This appointment is actually for installation of
the accessories we purchased with our New Accord on Saturday. Chris Bond met
with me this morning in San Marcos and traded out our car with a demo for us
to use while this is being done. Just to let you know, the Demo/loaner is
being pampered and is safely parked in our garage. We are treating it as if
it is our own.
You guys are awesome, and Chris is simply the best.
Also, I am a third shift manufacturing supervisor and I drove our new Accord
to work the past two nights, and on both nights I have had to go out to the
parking lot to tell everyone that eye candy time is over and get back to
work, as I kept finding employees absent from their positions and standing
around the Accord. Apparently the word has spread at work about the new
Accord as our Vice President in charge of production drove back to work last
night from his home in New Braunfels to look at it and ask me about it.
I have told everyone interested to go to Gunn Honda and talk to Chris Bond.

I just wanted to say thank you to all of my past, present and Future Customers….and a BIG Thank you to everyone who helped make May a Record month for both New and Used Cars sold here at Gunn Honda…
We exceeded our Goal of 500 New and 170 Used cars sold…and I think this is just the Begining!
I look forward to Breaking new records throughout this and future years…but without great customers like you that we are blessed to have walk through our doors…it would have not - and will not ever happen!

Mr. Hale,
I want to take a moment to write to you about my recent buying experience at Gunn Honda. I started my experience with Chris Bond a year ago through email. I was inquiring about the Honda Odyssey. Chris was very patient and helpful addressing all of my questions. I contacted Chris again on May 16th and the prices that were offered to me were great. I was previously shopping at Toyota and another Honda dealership (Where I walked out). I came into the store the Friday before memorial day so it was busy but Chris paired me with Justin Rogers. Justin did a great job and gave us all the WOW experience . He was very patient with my two small children and went above and beyond making all of us feel comfortable. Some things that I loved about the dealership are the following: Kid’s play area, covered area over cars, service dept being air conditioned, customer service, no buying pressure, etc.
I will refer all my business over to Gunn Honda and appreciate the buying experience.

Chris,
Everything went perfectly last night!! I did get a silver bow from Yvette at Michael’s and was home by 5:45. My wife and I were walking out of our house to go to dinner, I asked her if she wanted to drive, and she said sure. She took the keys, looked up at the CRV, saw the bow and her jaw just dropped. She was completely surprised, and we gushed over the car for about 15 minutes. The colors were perfect too. Once again, my sincere thanks for everything you did, and to everyone else at Gunn that helped this go smoothly.

Today, I owe a BIG thank you to God and to the Honda engineers.
After a long day at the zoo with my three young children, I was at a drive-thru window getting ready to pay. My seven year old daughter somehow managed to drop something out of her window (middle row seat) once we got to the pay window. Without little thought, I told her to go ahead and unbuckle and retrieve the item. I was not really paying attention but out of habit I must have put the car into park and open the sliding door.
As she was doing this, I started to get my money out of my front pocket and so as I was straightening my leg to try to get deep into the pocket I inadvertantly pressed on the gas pedal (very hard). Wow!!! What a scare.
My daughter was hanging out of the car and there was another car parked in front of me. If the van had not been in park, my daughter would have either been killed or severely injured and the car in front of us would have been heavily damaged (no telling how my two and three year old would have been).
So thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You forethought in requiring the vehicle to be in park in order to open a sliding door protected us today. I keep thinking about how different my life would be and so I had to take the time to say thank you!!!!
I was tired and didn’t even realize that I must have acted out of instinct and put the car into park in order to open the sliding door. It wasn’t because I was being cautious that this happened (I wish I could say that was the case - I’m usually very careful about things like this but just was not thinking).

We had been looking at used cars for a couple of months. Thinking that was the best way to go because of price. We had driven the 08 Accord 4cyl EX at a local dealer in October and we thought the price was out of our range and we really wanted the V6 anyway so that was the end of that.
I work with Longhorn from TOV and he went on about what a great deal he got from Chris at Gunn. So after another disappointing weekend of looking for used cars (one dealer was trying to sell us an 07 Camry SE…sounded nice…we get there it has huge deep scratches in the rear door and the ground effects covered with touch up paint) I decided to look at Gunn’s website with their One Simple Price right there on the website to see. I got in contact with Chris and we got a GREAT deal on the car…and EXACTLY what we wanted an 08 EX V6, Polished Metal exterior, Gray cloth interior for significantly less than the 4cyl we looked at in Oct.
I would suggest anyone looking in the Texas area check out Gunn and Chris Bond!

We got your message when we got home, thanks for checking on us. The drive home was great, and the car is doing great so far.
William and I talked for a while today about the cars, but we do that everyday. He was telling me about what a mood he was in when you wanted to show him the service bays. That’s William. (This is a Funny Story - C.B.)
Anyway thanks again, and you can be sure if we come across anyone looking you’ll be the first place we refer them…Jeanna said she’s already been refering people at work to you and Gunn. One of the V.P.’s there was asking her all about it, he said he’s been watching them since they came out. We actually ran into him last year at the Austin Auto show.

Thanks for the excellent shopping experience @ Gunn Honda. I think the way the entire process was handled was fabulous and I’m definitely going to recommend Gunn Honda to other friends of mine who might be looking to buy a car.
I am also extremely happy with the way Frank handled the financing process and do forward my email to him as I forgot to get his email id.

“I was looking for a car for three months in Houston.
Eventually I found Gunn Honda in San Antonio that not only did not charge any markups, but their quote was significantly below MSRP even for the new 08 EX-L I4 with Navigation that I bought last Saturday.
I totally recommend the dealership to anyone. I traveled from Houston to San Antonio and saved money. The dealership offers “One Simple Price” which means there was no pressure or anxiety of negotiations. I called them and they gave me a quote that was $2k below the other quotes (with the markups) I was getting. I took the next Greyhound bus to San Antonio and drove my new car Back home!
While waiting for the installation of some extras (that were reasonably priced) they gave me a tour of the dealership. It is huge. Their service area is impressive and I have only seen such service bay facilities in more luxurious brands like BMW. I wish I was living closer to have the car serviced there.
BTW, every Wednesday they have a therapist visiting the dealership for chair massages to the customers waiting for the car to be serviced!!!
Last but not least: Alabaster Silver / Black leather EX-L with Navi I-4 (190HP) $26450 + TTL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
